SIRACO presents : Disposable Urethrography Set

Reusable instruments for urethrography have been available in the past from different suppliers.

On the basis of MDR 2020, these are no longer permitted in the known constellation. Final result was  that previous suppliers have discontinued these instruments and removed them from their product portfolio because compliance with the requirements are no more profitable even in the long term.

o.k. – end – over – done.

A solution corresponding to almost all previous concerns in this respect had to be available Promptly in a timely manner.

This is what we, TEAM – Burkart Medizintechnik AG, Beromünster and SIRACO, Radolfzell  have done in cooperation with several Swiss urology departments on the basis of previously available instrument models and new user ideas for disposable components.

After: TEAM BURKART/SIRACO gave orders for production.

The disposable instrument set consists of:

1 X 30 degree angled clamp body with a pair = 2 pieces of plastic clamp jaws.

1 X 50ml syringe 

1 X connecting tube with Luer connector

2 X atraumatic, differently sized conical injection pieces

The disposable set is subject to a different classification compared to former reusable instruments and therefore complies with the current regulations.

SIRACO is responsible for Germany + Austria and the development of further markets in the EU.
Sales started January 2021
